On May 15, 10 tornadoes touched down overnight in Hood County, Texas and the surrounding areas. Six fatalities have been reported, with more than one hundred others injured from the storm. As a community member of
the Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), Aidmatrix is working diligently with our local partners responding to the tornadoes to connect the various response efforts.
Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds said six people were killed when the
powerful storm struck a Habitat for Humanity neighborhood in the area.
There were about 120 homes in the neighborhood and most of them were
destroyed, Deeds said. via CNN
