Empowering Today’s Workforce As a Driver in Humanitarian Relief - Keynote Address at Aid and International Development Forum



Aidmatrix President & CEO Governor Scott McCallum, along with Dr. Lori Foster Thompson, Professor of Psychology, North Carolina State University, will be providing a Keynote Address at the Aid & International Development Forum (AIDF) on May 22nd, titled 'Beyond the Millennium Development Goals: Empowering Today’s Workforce As a Driver in Humanitarian Relief'. He will also be joining a session titled "Transcending Dependency: New Approaches to Aid" later that afternoon, along with William Sparks, Vice President, Research & Development Unit, ACDI/VOCA, Sarah Lucas, Senior Advisor, Department of Policy and Evaluation, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and Robert D. Lamb, Director and Senior Follow, Center for Strategic and International Studies (CISS).

The Aid and International Development Forum (AIDF) are proud to be working with Aidmatrix for AIDF Washington DC, 21-22 May 2013.

AIDF is a free-to-attend, integrated exhibition and conference aimed at the humanitarian relief and development sector. The principal aim is to bring together practitioners and policy leaders from governments, UN, NGOs and private organizations to highlight the challenges faced by the aid and development sector and to share innovative ideas.

We are pleased to announce that Governor Scott McCallum, President & CEO, Aidmatrix will be giving a keynote address to open the show on Wednesday 22nd May at 9am.

AIDF is also supported by UN OCHA, American Red Cross, Millennium Challenge Corporation, World Vision, USAID and Interaction amongst other organizations.
