With colder weather fast approaching, voluntary agencies working with flood victims in the North Dakota Minot area are in need of donations to help with recovery efforts. While cash is always preferred and allows organizations to purchase the exact items they need, many organizations are also in need of product donations.
Current needs include:
• Drywall and supplies
• Insulation
• Nails and screws
• Lumber
• Plywood
• Interior and exterior doors
• Windows
• Trim
• Major appliances
• Paint
• Other items being posted daily
Businesses or individuals interested in donating cash, product, or registering as a volunteer can log on to North Dakota’s National Donations Management Network portal at www.nd.gov/des/donations . Individuals or businesses can also call 701-725-4995 or fax 701-725-4604 to make a product donation.
