ISTAT's AirLink & JetBlue Airways Provide Flights for Sandy Medical Relief Work

ISTAT's Airlink program uses Aidmatrix' software to coordinate transportation services for relief organizations during disasters. ISTAT's membership of air transportation providers monitor incoming needs posted by the relief community. AirLink received a passenger transportation "need" from a nonprofit called Team Rubicon, which does emergency medical relief in disaster times. AirLink program participant: JetBlue Airwaves donated more than $80,000 worth of seats to help them move relief workers in and out of Superstorm Sandy affected areas to help with the recovery efforts.
