Adventist Community Services Lends a Hand in Dallas – Fort Worth Tornado Relief

The National Weather Service reported at least a dozen tornadoes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on April 3, 2012. More than 200 homes were destroyed and more than 600 were damaged from the tornadoes. Some of the worst damage occurred in the southern Dallas County towns of Lancaster and DeSoto. Members of the Texas and Southwest Region conferences of the Adventist Community Services joined hands with several community agencies to distribute supplies to people who were affected by the tornadoes in Lancaster, Texas. The first responders were there passing out food, water, blankets and other needed items to the tornado victims.
