Irving, Texas, Nov. 18, 2013 --
The Aidmatrix Foundation, a nonprofit organization, announced today its
partnership with American Eagle Outfitters Inc. to help the response
efforts for Typhoon Haiyan. American Eagle Outfitters has pledged
$50,000 in direct financial support. The money donated will go towards
the procurement of 100,000 meals, 200 aid packages of medical supplies,
12,500 cases of cleaning supplies, and 185 packages of building
materials to support reconstruction. In addition, they are running an
employee-giving campaign and generously matching their employees'
contributions 2-to-1, as well as sharing their campaign with their
social media followers to encourage additional giving
Scott McCallum, President and CEO of Aidmatrix, said,
"This generous donation will go to support our work with international
relief organizations to ensure aid is mobilized for the people of the
Philippines. Aidmatrix greatly appreciates the incoming donations from
our partner, American Eagle Outfitters, and their employees'

Aidmatrix has
activated its disaster response network. The nonprofit foundation is
leveraging its technologies to help its partners achieve their mission
and to provide relief to victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
