The Aidmatrix
Foundation Inc. and NPower Texas today confirmed the date and location
of the "DFW Digital Ball", a technology networking and charitable
fundraising gala that will feature an assembly of DFW's most influential
and thought-leading CIOs, CTOs, VPs of IT, and Technology Companies.
The inaugural event, which focuses on empowering the nonprofit community through the adoption of technology,
will be held at the Studios at Las Colinas on Saturday, November 10,
2012 from 6:30 p.m. to Midnight during an evening of dinner, dancing and
visually stunning performances.
The DFW Digital
Ball promises to be the "Go-To Event" for the technology community,
offering a night of powerful networking in a social, non-business
setting, allowing technology professionals to deepen existing, and build
new, relationships with many of the DFW area's most influential
players. The "Who's Who" of IT Executives and Technology Companies are
aligning themselves with the event in support of innovative technology
applications for nonprofit organizations, further strengthening our
local and global communities. Proceeds from the fundraising event will
benefit The Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc., a DFW-based 501(c)3 nonprofit
organization that builds humanitarian-relief technology solutions for
partners in DFW, Texas, across the U.S., and around the world.
DFW is rapidly
becoming a hub for high-tech innovation and development. With more
Fortune 500 company headquarters than any other US Metroplex and
hundreds of high-tech businesses in the area, the event will also aid in
solidifying DFW's footprint as a global epicenter for technological
advancement.
A noteworthy
element of the DFW Digital Ball is the presentation of the annual
Technology Innovation Award, selected by a panel of judges, and
presented to a local DFW nonprofit. The winning organization will
receive in-kind Aidmatrix/NPower Texas technology services and software
designed to more efficiently serve clients and manage business
operations.
